07/04/07 - Motion to revise the current policy requiring
National Specialty (Sweepstakes, Futurity and Conformation) Judges to
"decline assignments 6 months before and 3 months after" a
National Judging assignment. The new guideline will read: Sweepstakes,
Futurity and Conformation judge's are asked to decline Rottweiler assignments
3 months prior to judging the National Specialty. To be effective beginning
with the ARC 2008 National Specialty assignments.

07/06/07 – Motion to present to the membership for
vote an addition to the American Rottweiler Club Mandatory Practices
as follows: "In the interest of full disclosure of any identified
health issues, any dog or bitch to be bred, (born after June 1, 2006)
must have a CHIC certificate which provides a source of health information
for owners, breeders, and scientists that will assist in breeding healthy
dogs. CHIC is
meant to encourage health testing and sharing of all results, normal
and abnormal, so that more informed breeding decisions can be made in
an overall effort to reduce the incidence of genetic disease and improve
canine health. CHIC requires permanent identification (Microchip or
Tattoo) and for Rottweilers requires that the following evaluations
are done and results released regardless of pass or failure: (OFA Hip
or passing PENN Hip rating, OFA Elbow, Heart, and CERF). CERF should
be performed annually, or within twelve months prior to breeding."

and pain care after 7 days of birth."

with grants they are currently working on.

from Treasurer Lopez, Becky Sumner will close all remaining accounts
in which she is a signor. Transactions to be completed within 48 hours
of notice.

motion to accept in lieu of contracted payment for 2007 ARC National

08/13/07 - Motion to change BSL (Breed Specific Legislation)
terminology to Anti-Canine Legislation wherever we use it in the context
of club activities advertising and correspondence. The five categories
of Anti-Canine Legislation are breed/weight/type bans or restrictions,
guardianship, mandatory spay/neuter or mandatory microchip, homeowners
insurance blacklists, and anti dock crop. Anti-Canine Legislation is
pervasive and ARC must be seen as inclusive of all breeds and include
them in our fight.

08/13/07 - Motion to set up a rescue fund for the
Rottweiler rescue groups in the US to help in emergencies, so they don't
have to wait for grants and funds during emergency situations. The motion
would move $7,500 out of disaster fund to be made available to other
501c3 rescues that solely rescue Rottweilers in need. Rottweiler only
rescues such as New England Rottweiler and Atlantic Rottweiler Rescue
who have their own 501c3 would be eligible for emergency advances in
any fiscal year to be repaid if they are approved by Rottweiler Rescue
Foundation for a grant. Amount of each emergency advance not to exceed
$1,500. Additionally a line on the new membership renewals will include
this fund for donations.

funds will be a one time donation by ARC to RRF with the understanding
that members may donate to keep the fund going. The Emergency Fund will
be for 501c3 Rottweiler Rescue groups in the US. The motion would move
$3,500 out of disaster fund to the RRF to be made available to Rottweiler
only 501c3 rescues. Amount of each emergency advance not to exceed $1,000.
Additionally a line on new membership and renewal forms will include
this fund, Emergency Rescue Fund, for donations. RRF to consider and
act on each request for emergency funding, by either denying or issuing
payment within 4 calendar days from the date the request is made. RRF
will make quarterly reports to ARC for the first 24 months of the life
of this fund.

will be filed by the Board against Lew Olson. Cancelled checks and missing
statements were requested numerous times, last request now being 30
days old. Deadline date for receipt of already requested missing bank
statements and cancelled checks to be 9/15/07.

and/or Breed Mentors, under the auspices of the American Rottweiler
Club Judges Education Program, be required to strictly adhere to the
American Rottweiler Club, American Kennel Club, approved Rottweiler
Breed Standard. The American Rottweiler Club will not approve Breed
Presenters and/or Breed Mentors who deviate from the ARC/AKC approved
Rottweiler Breed Standard in their Breed presentations and/or mentoring.
Further any Breed Presenter and/or Breed Mentor currently on ARC's approved
list who does not adhere to the above requirements will subsequently
be removed from said lists.

date placed in service, purchase price, fair market value, warranty,
serial and model numbers with a brief description (photo if possible),
and percent of business use if applicable.

to exhibit their own dog in another venue IF their assignment has concluded
BEFORE their own dog is exhibited in another performance/conformation
event. You may not exhibit and judge on the same day even if it's in
a different venue. For example, Joe Smith judges agility on Monday.
His assignment is completed on Monday. He exhibits his dog in obedience
on Thursday. Mary Smith judge's herding on Thursday and completes her
assignment on Thursday; she may exhibit her dog in Breed on Sunday.
