01/15/09 - Motion to purchase at a cost of $250.00 the Claudia Orlandi’s Breed University Template (BUT) program. This program can be used on the web site, seminar educational use and for Judges Education. This program will assist the Breeders Education Committee in developing the Breeders Education Booth and future presentations for the ARC Membership. These programs can help harness and pass on the knowledge and experience of a parent club’s most successful breeders and dog people, preserving their legacy for future generations. The BUT Program will be consider the sole property of ARC Inc. and will be added to the ARC inventory control program. Program will be shipped directly to Elaine Starry Breeders Education Chairperson as responsible person for the material purchase by this motion. Should a substitute Chairperson be appointed in the future or the committee is dissolved for any reason, the entire program mentioned above will be returned to the ARC Treasure via USPS insured mail within fourteen days from the ARC Board notification of change in status for this committee. The total cost for program including shipping and handling will be $250.00 which is to be paid from the Purina Partnership Funds.

01/29/09 - Motion to revise the ARC Standing Rule F.1.q. and F.2.b. to read:
F.1.q. Members may request the publishing of letters to the Editor that involve matters of interest to the ARC membership. Letters may not contain anything in regards to a grievance, personal dispute, litigation, appeal, or endorsement of a commercial product; be of a slanderous or self-promoting nature; etc. All letters shall be forwarded to the Board upon receipt for determination if the letter is publishable and in order that they may be given an opportunity to publish an answer in the same issue in which the letter will be published.
Letters that require more than one page to publish will be charged a per page fee after the first page; the letter may not be carried over into subsequent ARK's to avoid the per page fee. F.2.b. Correspondence/communication received by the ARC BOD from ARC members or others posing questions or comments about BOD actions will be printed in the ARK and posted on the ARC website at the Board of Directors’ discretion.

Motion: All reports, reviews and opinions that have been prepared by an outside professional accounting service or ARC committee in reference to the ARC finances, accounts, tax preparations, finance methods and recommendations shall be sent by the Treasurer to the ARC Board for review prior to finalization, adopting or publication in the ARK and/or on the ARC web site. The ARC Board by motion within fourteen days of receipt of the report shall move to approve or disapproved (with written reasons on all disapprovals) any financial report that has been submitted for review by an outside contractor or ARC committee. This action shall not impede the financial responsibilities of ARC Inc. to the ARC membership or tax compliance laws that ARC Inc. is regulated by.
