Please Note: Secretary Tina Church, has instituted a numbering system for motions made. Each motion will be assigned a number based on the month and then the number motion it is during that month; e.g. the 1st motion in the month of August is 8.1.; the 15th is 8.15.
8.1. 7/30/09 Motion to change Standing Rule F. 3.b.
to read "All articles must go to the ARC standing committee of
the area in which the article pertains to for review and recommendation
to the Board for final approval before being posted. If there is no
standing committee in that particular area, then the BOD will review
them. The ARC Board liaison is responsible for the communication between
ARC webmaster, committee and Board.

8.7 8/12/09 Motion to change SR H. Clubs 6. to read
"Per AKC rules, licensed clubs are required to receive Parent Club
approval for any Specialty. All requests for such approval must include
the following information about the Specialty: date(s); location; name
of all-breed club, if the Specialty is not an independent show; events
being held, e.g. conformation, herding, etc.: and names of all judges."

8.10-8/15/09 Motion to approve the Hoosier Rottweiler
Club Designated Specialty on Friday, February 12, 2010 in conjunction
with The Indy Winter Classic, Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis
from Thursday, February 11 through Sunday, February 14, 2010. The Indy
Winter Classic is held by Hoosier Kennel Club and Central Indiana Kennel
Club. The Designated Specialty judge is Betty Leininger and the Puppy
and Veteran Sweepstakes judge is Marvin Arthur. Three obedience trials
and three rally trials are held Friday through Sunday are part of the
Indy Winter Classic.

8.12-8/15/09 Motion to have the various ARC Committees
review the articles currently posted in the "Breed Information"
section of the ARC website in order to determine if they are current
and/or appropriate in content. The Committees will report to the BOD
with their recommendation as to whether articles should be retained,
removed, or moved to another section of the website. Should a "Committee"
actually be only one person; two other persons will be appointed solely
for the purpose of reviewing articles now and in the future.

Rules and Litter
and Puppy
Nomination Forms (attached). These will all become effective for the
2011 Futurity, with one exception. Under "Monetary Awards"
the sentence "Monetary awards, which are provided for but cannot
be given, whatever the reason, shall be sent to the ARC Treasurer and
incorporated into the ARC General Fund." This becomes effective
with the 2010 Futurity.
