TRI-FOLD and BANNER PROJECT

The American Rottweiler Club has launched a nation-wide project to aid clubs and organizations in learning about certain Anti-canine Legislation that is rapidly gaining momentum across the country. Specific types of laws/ordinances can and will have a direct adverse affect against dog owners, from the conformation, working competitor of any venue to the household pet owner. Some may even adversely affect dogs that provide a direct service to its owner/handler and/or to the its community.

Following is one thing that the American Rottweiler Club is doing to help YOU, the dog owner and competitor.

During the summer of 2006, the ARC Legislation Committee developed an educational project that is comprised of full color, professionally printed tri-fold brochures. At the same time, the Committee created an 8' X 2' bright red, heavy duty banner. Both of these items stress the point of the future possible loss of owning and maintaining any breed of dog as we have become accustomed in this great country. The ARC is making these items available to any event giving club or organization free of charge to further their educational purposes. This project works as follows, in exchange for a table or booth and a volunteer:

  • Any club or organization will have access to a specific quantity of tri-folds, depending upon their event.
  • The ARC will also make, via a simple loan agreement, the use of the grommeted banner for any dog event.

The ARC requests that the event giving club or organization place a jar or can in a visible location for donations to help keep this project freely available in the future. The ARC will also provide an appropriate 'wrap' for this container.

To participate in the above project, all a representative will have to do is contact the ARC Project Coordinator,
Suzi Faulkner at sakioliver@yahoo.com. Suzi will then send a form to be filled out and returned via fax with all of the particulars and she will be available to answer any additional questions. After completion of the form, she will then notify the appropriate individuals to fill your request. Once you have successfully held your event, please convert any donations to ARC into a check made out to ARC BSL FUND and include it along with the return of the banner. Details will be provided with your banner.

The ARC is also permitting individuals and/or clubs to request copies of the tri-folds only. Once again, please contact Suzi. When she sends out the form, please write NO BANNER at the top of the form prior to returning it. The reason for this is so that the ARC can maintain a record of tri-fold and banner usage for future production of these products. You can use these tri-folds at meetings, veterinarians offices, pet stores and wherever pet owners congregate. We ask that if you are an individual and not working within the parameters of a Rottweiler Club that you be willing to donate a small processing fee for the tri-folds This helps us in replenishing them and keeping them free for event giving clubs of all breeds.

The ARC asks that you get your requests in early to be assured we can reserve a banner for you. Items will be mailed to your representative approximately 10 days prior your event.
