Rally Obedience

Rally is a new dog sport that is designed to be a bridge between basic pet obedience skills and the world of obedience or agility. Rally offers both the dogs and handlers an experience that is fun and energizing.

The dog and handler team moves at their own pace through a course of obstacles and exercises. The run is timed, but time is only taken into consideration when there is a tie in scores.

There are 3 different levels of Rally - Novice, Advanced and Excellent - and titles can be earned at each level.

Rally was designed with the traditional pet owner in mind, but it can still be very challenging for those who enjoy higher levels of competition.

Many local dog clubs offer rally obedience training classes; look for a club in your area at the American Kennel Club website.
