The American Rottweiler Club will present its annual Judges Education Breed Study during the 2026 ARC National Specialty on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Purina Event Center.
This in-depth educational program is designed to help AKC judges and aspiring judges develop a deeper understanding of the Rottweiler through structured classroom instruction, live dog evaluation, hands-on learning, and ringside mentoring. The seminar connects the written breed standard with practical evaluation techniques used in the ring, helping participants build confidence, consistency, and a stronger understanding of breed type, structure, movement, temperament, and overall balance.
The classroom presentation begins at 12:00 PM, followed by a guided hands-on workshop at approximately 1:45 PM. Participants will work directly with experienced educators and live dogs in a controlled learning environment designed specifically for judges education. The ARC program emphasizes correct examination techniques, dentition evaluation, movement analysis, proportion, breed character, and understanding the functional structure of the Rottweiler.
