Rottweiler Volunteers of the Year

The Rottweiler Volunteers of the Year awards, represented by the Mirko Medallion, reflect the American Rottweiler Club’s desire to promote and encourage activities which present the positive aspects of the Rottweiler breed. Primary consideration for the award will be given to those owners who have unselfishly devoted their time and the ability of their Rottweiler to improving their community or enhancing the lives of others. The owner need not be an ARC member.

The awards are presented at the Awards event at the National Specialty. Nominations may be submitted by individuals or by clubs listed in the Local and Regional Clubs list. Nominations must include an explanation of why the owner and Rottweiler should receive the award and be accompanied by verifiable documentation (such as letters of commendation, accreditation, or newspaper clippings). Nominations are reviewed and approved by the ARC Board of Directors.

The Mirko Medallions are offered by ARC member Donna Rice.
